The area around the villa

The villa is located in a totally private area, in the small village of Kare which is 14 km away from Rethymno town and the beach!

The whole surrounding area is in a quiet natural environment and even though the village of Kare is close, you can feel “away from it all”! Close to Kare village and only 4 km away you will find the village of Armeni. There is nothing that you cannot find in Armeni village nowadays, as it has all kinds of shops, supermarkets, bakeries, and many taverns.

Being located in central Crete is giving you the advantage of exploring the real Crete easily!

You will be able to explore the North coast with well known tourist areas, the central Crete where you can interact with the locals and you will be able to feel how life is in a small village and the South coast of Crete where you can visit some of the best natural beaches with crystal waters in Crete.
